THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

 

We seek energetic and ambitious individuals who are outgoing, friendly, proud of their work and enjoy interacting with the public. We keep an upbeat and happy working environment and strive to surround ourselves with staff members espousing a similar attitude. Employee must be a TEAM PLAYER who is responsible for their own work and requires minimal supervision. Due to the nature of our mission, low employee turnover is necessary. This position is a fast paced one which necessitates the need for excellent communication skills. Due to the growing involvement of technology in eye care, especially computer based technology, basic computer literacy is a requirement.   It is also very important that your work be done efficiently and without error. Although experience does count, previous health care, optical, and/or office experience is not necessary. If you are looking for a career that will give you fulfillment helping people with their eyesight and thus their quality of life, then employment with us for you!

 

SKILLS YOU MUST POSSESS

•  At the top of the list of traits we seek for staff positions are Computer Literacy  & Friendly Personality.  

•  Candidate must also desire to work in a busy and fast paced health care facility. 

PREFERRED SKILLS & TRAITS

•  Previous Eye Care experience is preferred but not necessary.

•  Previous health care experience is an asset but not a requirement.

They must also, in their own way, contribute to the overall betterment of our practice. We do not expect perfection from the start. We do, however, expect a willingness for every team member to learn and expand their capabilities. It is our goal as an office to EXCEED OUR PATIENTS EXPECTATION EVERYDAY!

 

OUR LOCATION

 

From time to time, we hire additional staff members specifically for one of our two office locations. We prefer individuals with the flexibility to work at either facility. Our staff is comprised of both part-time and full-time positions.
