The following information is an overview of current positions for which we are recruiting.  It also explains what we ask from aspiring candidates and our employment recruitment process. We have opening for OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN 1 (part time)  OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN (part time) position is a new addition to our staff necessitated by growth of our practices. While it is anticipated that the current positions will involve scheduled time at our Salem office in Harrison County, we have a need that  could require some scheduled time for Wednesdays at our Harrisville facility in Ritchie County. Candidates living in the region between our offices are the most ideal.

OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN 1 (part time)

This new position is for approximately 30 hours weekly and involves:

JOB OVERVIEW

This position is for 20 hours per week. It is for an  OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN, which is involved primarily with screening patients for examination by our doctors including the use of specialized equipment including but not limited to:

  Lensometery   (check Prescription of eyeglasses)

  Screening Patients for their eye examinations

  

Candidate will also assist with:

  Billing patients  / Computer Billing / Payments

  Insurance Billing / Electronic Billing

  Frame Styling, Adjustment & Repair

  Appointment scheduling

  Contact lens dispensing

  Back up optician - edging lenses
