Our HARRISVILLE office has moved to our new location in the SHOP ‘n SAVE EXPRESS PLAZA.  Our new office has more exam rooms, easier handicapped access and a totally new optical area. The layout/floor plan of this new construction is custom designed for eye care and will allow us to deliver excellence in care in a modern environment.

 

OUR SALEM office just received a renovation of our technician pre-test area to improve the efficiency of our patient care delivery experience with our ever-expanding technology.

 

 

 

 

A message to our patients about our infection control plan…

MASKS ARE OPTIONAL IN OUR OFFICE.     You may be issued a mask for certain exam types to be used in the exam room.

Regardless, if it is flu season, a virus outbreak or “normal times,” our infection control plan and its regular implementation is designed for the safety and health to both our patients and our eye care team.  We value your trust and confidence in selecting us for your care.

We permit 1 guest in the exam room as needed. Please reschedule if you have BEEN DIRECTLY EXPOSED TO COVID-19 or have A SORE THROAT, COUGH OR FLU-LIKE SYMPTOMS.

OUR SALEM FACILITY

Our Salem facility is location is on Salem’s west end adjacent to Salem Family Medicine.

The near 4000 square foot building features free parking, handicapped access, 10 patient care rooms and an on site optical lab.

Our Harrisville office, located behind the Harrisville Town Hall, was completely renovated in 2016 and now has 7 patient care rooms.

DIAGNOSTIC TESTING

We are a CLIA approved on-site tear lab diagnostic testing facility.

Each office has a modern optical with everything to meet your budget. We are dedicated to bringing you the finest eye care available and constantly invest in the technology to deliver on our promise! We offer patient care 5 days a week between our two offices (plus a bonus day of care on the second Saturday of each month in Salem). We welcome new patients! Visit our new patient registration section to make your initial registration streamlined. Print our consent and history forms; complete them at home and bring then to your exam.

OLLEYES ViruALL ETS
We now offer the VisuALL ETS, Virtual Reality unit that is a visual field perimeter designed for standardized and mobile assessment of the visual field. VisuALL automatically analyzes the retinal sensitivity in patients with Glaucoma and other visual disorders. Additionally, it now tests contrast sensitivity, visual acuity, color vision, pupillometry and extraocular muscles. It has an onboard attendant that can communicate in 30 languages!

New Portable Flash & Flicker ERG/VEP Device

The RETeval® device is opening up access to functional information through visual electrophysiology testing in a whole new way. The device is the first completely portable, handheld, comprehensive full field flash ERG and VEP testing device for medical professionals. It gives the full picture of patient eye health with testing that provides objective and functional information that could not previously be attained – leading to better patient care and outcomes.

New Tomometer added.

We have added iCare IC100 as our tonometer of choice. This easy-to-use instrument is fast and accurate to measure the internal eye pressure and use a disposable tip, which eliminates cross contamination in place of a reusable tip that is disinfected.

NEW 3D OCT / FUNDUS CAMERA

We just added the TOPCON Maestro2 3D imaging system. It is a new way to quickly analyze the eye.

Our Mission & Philosophy

Our practice was established in Salem by Dr. Joseph Audia in 1983.

We expanded that office 3 times. In 1998 we added a branch location in Harrisville, which was most recently renovated in 2002. We added an associate optometric physician for the first time in 2003. In 2009, we built our new Salem location. Through it all our mission has remained unchanged – to provide quality eye care at affordable fees!

It is our philosophy to provide the most thorough eye care and highest quality materials at the best possible fee. It is our experience that our “everyday low prices” are lower than most competitors “sale prices”. We hope this site helps you understand who we are, the services we provide, our policies and pricing philosophy.
